To allow slight adjustment in the position, KMTT Plummer Block Housings have two elongated holes foiattachment bolts. The Bearing seat in the Housing bore is designed for non-locating Bearing arrangementsBearing can move slightly in either direction to compensate Shaft elongation, which may happen due tothermal expansion.

Generally Bearings used in the Plummer Blocks are lubricated with grease, and since it lasts for a longertime, Plummer Blocks do not have re-lubrication holes. However, Bearing performance should be periodicallymonitored to ascertain re-lubrication requirements.
